Bhubaneswar, Oct 8: In a significant development in the murder investigation of senior advocate and BJP leader Pitabash Panda, fresh revelations have surfaced following the release of his X-ray and autopsy reports.

The findings confirm that a 9mm bullet entered his upper chest and travelled directly into the spinal column, where it became lodged.

According to medical sources and the post-mortem examination, the bullet caused massive internal bleeding and traumatic brain injury, ultimately leading to Panda’s death.

The nature of the wound suggests that the shot was fired from extremely close range.

The bullet struck the right side of Panda’s chest, pierced through soft tissue, and reached the vertebral column.
