Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: The Odisha Cabinet, in its 36th meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, approved four key proposals along with the State Budget, which will be presented in the upcoming Assembly session, officials said on Saturday.
Speaking to mediapersons, Chief Secretary Anu Garg said that
the State Cabinet gave its nod to three proposals from the Water Resources
Department, including approval of three packages worth Rs100 crore under the
Anandpur Barrage Project. These packages are expected to strengthen irrigation
facilities and enhance water management in the region, she added.

✨In addition, the Labour Department’s proposal to amend the
service rules for radiographers was cleared. The amendment aims to streamline
recruitment and service conditions, ensuring better efficiency and clarity in
the department’s functioning.
