Soro, Oct 12: Several person sustained injured after a bus they were travelling in overturned near Tarini Chhak on National Highway 16 in Balasore district.

According to reports, a bus carrying pilgrims was returning from Puri to Kolkata. Meanwhile, the driver of the bus lost control over the wheels and toppled onto the road after colliding with the divider.

The sudden mishap left more than five passengers injured, some of them seriously.

Following the incident, emergency services rushed to the scene, and the injured were immediately taken to Sorada Medical Center for treatment.

Later, police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.

Preliminary reports suggest that the driver may have lost control due to high speed or a possible mechanical failure, though official confirmation is awaited.
