New Delhi, Feb 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India AI Impact Summit 2026 and the India AI Impact Expo at Bharat Mandapam on Monday, marking a major global gathering on artificial intelligence, officials said.

The five day event, running from February 16 to 20, will bring together leaders, policymakers, and technology experts from over 100 countries to deliberate on the transformative role of AI.

The summit will focus on the theme “People, Planet, and Progress,” highlighting AI’s potential to drive inclusive growth, sustainability, and innovation. More than 500 sessions are scheduled, featuring over 3,250 speakers and panelists from across the world. Discussions will explore AI’s impact on healthcare, agriculture, governance, and education, while charting future pathways to ensure benefits reach every citizen.

The India AI Impact Expo will showcase over 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations, including 13 country pavilions from Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and Africa. Over 600 high potential startups will present globally relevant solutions, underscoring India’s ambition to become a hub for AI innovation and collaboration.

French President Emmanuel Macron and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva are among the prominent global leaders expected to attend, alongside representatives from leading technology firms, research institutions, and governments. The event is expected to attract more than 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates, investors, and industry stakeholders.

Organisers said the summit aims to foster new partnerships, strengthen international cooperation, and create business opportunities within the global AI ecosystem.
