Pradhan stressed that AI in education and AI-related education are mutually reinforcing. Today’s youth, he noted, are markedly different from previous generations, with innovative thinking and a readiness to adopt new technologies. He urged young Indians to embrace AI not only as a tool for learning but also as a means of empowerment and innovation. “The unique efforts of India’s youth will make the country an unrivalled force on the global AI map,” he added.

The Minister highlighted that the Ministry of Education has, over the past decade, laid the groundwork for AI-enabled learning through national digital platforms, policy frameworks, institutional reforms, and initiatives across school education, higher education, skill development, advanced research, and innovation. Integrating AI into the education system, he said, aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.
