Four Most Wanted Bihar Gangsters Shot Dead In Police Encounter

New Delhi: Four most wanted gangsters from Bihar’s notorious Ranjan Pathak–Manish Pathak gang were shot dead during an encounter with police in Rohini, Delhi, early Thursday morning.

According to reports, the encounter took place at around 2:20 AM, between Dr Ambedkar Chowk and Pansali Chowk on Bahadur Shah Marg, Rohini when the accused were planning a major criminal operation ahead of the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

Ranjan Pathak and his accomplices were affiliated with the Sigma Gang, a group responsible for a series of violent incidents across Bihar.

Following the exchange of fire, all four accused were rushed to Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, where they were declared brought dead.

The deceased have been identified Ranjan Pathak, 25,(son of Manoj Pathak, resident of Malhai, PS Sursand, Sitamarhi, Bihar), Bimlesh Mahto alias Bimlesh Sahni, 25, (son of Sukhla Devi, resident of Ratanpur, PS Bajpatti, Sitamarhi, Bihar), Manish Pathak, 33, (son of Arvind Pathak, resident of Malhai, PS Sursand, Sitamarhi, Bihar), Aman Thakur, 21, (son of Sanjeev Thakur, resident of Sherpur, Karawal Nagar, Delhi.)

Police sources said the gang members were wanted in several heinous crimes across Bihar, including multiple murders and extortion cases.
