Bhubaneswar, Oct 27: Union Education Minister and BJP election in-charge for Bihar, Dharmendra Pradhan, emphasized that fulfilling the aspirations of Bihar’s youth remains the central focus of the party’s agenda.
Speaking on the state’s development journey, Pradhan highlighted the immense potential Bihar holds and the transformative steps taken over the past two decades, particularly under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in the last 11 years.
The Union Education Minister credited the vision of
‘Purvodaya’ — a development initiative aimed at uplifting Eastern India — as a

He further stated that the ‘double-engine government’ — a term used to describe the synergy between the central and state governments — has implemented numerous developmental initiatives in Bihar. These efforts, he claimed, have significantly improved law and order, empowered women, uplifted farmers, and created opportunities for the youth.
However, Dharmendra Pradhan stressed that the journey is far from over. “This is not enough. We must take Bihar to new heights,” he asserted, calling for continued momentum in development and governance.
The Union Education Minister also commented on the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections, where he is serving as BJP election in-charge. He revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to Bihar after Diwali to lead campaign rallies on October 30 and November 2. A major roadshow is scheduled in Patna on November 2.
As Bihar gears up for the upcoming elections, Union Minister
Pradhan’s remarks set the tone for the BJP’s campaign narrative, centred on
progress, infrastructure, and youth empowerment.
