Sambalpur, Oct 26: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan extended warm wishes to the people of Sambalpur on the occasion of Chhath Puja, a festival deeply rooted in Bihar’s cultural heritage.
Though currently engaged in election duties in Bihar, Pradhan acknowledged the vibrant celebrations of Chhath Puja in his own constituency of Sambalpur, Odisha.
Speaking from Bihar, where he joined the festivities at
Minister Nitin Nabin’s residence, Union Minister Pradhan said, “Chhath Puja is
a festival of cultural pride for Bihar. It is celebrated with equal enthusiasm
in Sambalpur. Though I am busy with election responsibilities here, I send my
heartfelt greetings to the people of Sambalpur.”

The Union Education Minister also commented on the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections, where he is serving as BJP election in-charge. He revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to Bihar after Diwali to lead campaign rallies on October 30 and November 2. A major roadshow is scheduled in Patna on November 2.

Expressing confidence in the NDA’s prospects, Union Minister Pradhan stated, “The people will once again choose NDA. They are aligning with development and rejecting corruption.” His remarks reflect the party’s optimism ahead of the crucial voting phases.
The Chhath Puja celebrations in Bihar were marked by traditional fervour, with devotees offering prayers to the Sun God. Pradhan’s participation in the rituals added a personal touch to his political engagements, bridging cultural and electoral narratives.
