Bhubaneswar, Mar 31: The Ghibli trend has spread like wildfire as a wave of AI-generated Ghibli-style images swept across the internet. People have been sharing their Ghibli images since it was introduced. Fueled by the advancements in Artificial Intelligence image generation, this trend has rapidly become a cultural phenomenon. The viral trend is not just a fleeting online fad; it's a testament to the enduring appeal of Ghibli's artistry and the democratizing power of modern AI.

Ghibli Studio images was found by Toshio Suzuki, Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki in Japan. Like Ghibli’s visual aesthetics, Studio Ghibli’s films are also known for their ability to seamlessly blend the mundane scene with the fantastical. It often explores the theme of nature, family and the feelings of leaving creatures. They are also deeply political and contain complex characters who obscure between good and evil.

Artificial Intelligence tools for transforming ordinary pictures into artistic ones have captivated the users. The AI tools for image generation, particularly within tools like GPT-4o and Grok 3, have sparked an explosion of Ghibli-inspired imagery that had flooded the digital platforms with whimsical scenes.  

A series of PM Modi’s Ghibli-inspired photographs was posted on MyGovIndia X account, on Friday. The post was captioned as: "Main character? No. He's the whole storyline. Experience New India in Studio Ghibli strokes.”
