Bhubaneswar, Nov 1: Odisha's shooter Shriyanka Sadangi has clinched a spot for the prestigious Paris 2024 Olympics after a momentous triumph at the Asian Shooting Championship held in Changwon, according to sources.
Shriyanka Sadangi scored 440.5 in the final to finish fourth. South Korea’s Eunseo Lee (468.5) won the gold medal while Chinese shooters Jiayu Han (463.3) and Siyu Xia (453.3) settled for silver and bronze, respectively.
Shriyanka Sadangi’s accomplishment did not go unnoticed by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), the governing body for the Olympic sport of Shooting. The NRAI’s official Twitter account extended its congratulations, noting Shriyanka’s pivotal role in securing India’s 13th quota place for the Paris 2024 Olympics in Shooting.
