Cuttack, Dec 7: Excitement is mounting in Odisha as Team India prepares for the high‑voltage T20 clash against South Africa at Barabati Stadium on December 9.

Preparations at the venue are in their final stages, with authorities ensuring tight security and smooth arrangements for the much‑anticipated showdown.

Players have begun arriving in Bhubaneswar ahead of the high‑voltage encounter.

On Sunday, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah landed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport. He was immediately whisked away under tight security to Hotel Mayfair, where the Indian squad will be stationed during their stay.

Local fans gathered at the airport to catch a glimpse of Bumrah, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for the match. Officials confirmed that South African players are also expected to arrive shortly, with practice sessions scheduled at Barabati in the coming days.

The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has been working round the clock to finalise logistics, crowd management, and security arrangements. With tickets already in high demand, the match is expected to draw a packed stadium, adding to the electrifying atmosphere.
