    Tendulkar, the only cricketer to score 100 international centuries, amassed 15,921 runs in 200 Tests and 18,426 runs in 463 ODIs. His crowning glory came in 2011 when India lifted the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup, fulfilling his lifelong dream after five previous attempts. Conferred with the Bharat Ratna in 2014, Tendulkar’s legacy remains unparalleled in cricket history.

    On his birthday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a tribute highlighting his staggering statistics: “664 international matches, 34,357 runs, 100 centuries. Wishing the legendary Sachin Tendulkar a very happy birthday.” ICC Chairman Jay Shah also praised Tendulkar’s contribution, noting how his empathy and humanity continue to impact society beyond the cricket field.
