Bhubaneswar, Feb 10: The Spanish hockey teams – both men and women – have arrived in the capital city of Odisha, Monday.

Both the teams were given rousing reception upon their arrival at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.

The men’s team is scheduled to take on the host nation – India – February 15 and 16 before facing England February 19. The Spanish women’s team, on the other hand, will face Germany February 15 and 16, followed by their clash with the India eves February 19.

Spain is struggling in both the men and women’s competitions as the Spanish men are placed sixth, while their women’s team is eighth in the standings.

The men’s team has just one win in four matches, having two losses and a draw in remaining games. The Spanish eves, on the other hand, are yet to register a win in their four outings.

The England women’s team had arrived in the city Sunday. England have made a not-so-impressive start to their FIH Pro League campaign having just one win and three losses so far in their four matches.
