Cuttack, Jan 31: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday visited the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack and reviewed preparations for the ODI match between India and England on February 9.
The Chief Minister also released an Odia song titled as “Swagat… Suswagat”, composed for the ODI match, during his visit to the iconic stadium
In a social media post, the Chief Minister said he has discussed the preparations and the steps taken to ensure the comfort of the spectators and players.

The Chief Minister also expressed satisfaction over the arrangements after taking stock of the preparations.
“The preparatory work is being carried out under the direct supervision of all the Odisha Cricket Association staff, district and state administration and Sports Minister Suryavanshi Suraj,” CM Majhi said.

Meanwhile, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has announced that online sale of tickets for the upcoming India vs England ODI match at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on February 9 will commence from February 2.
However, only 4,000 tickets will be put up for sale online.
The offline ticket sale for the public will be held at the counters of Barabati Stadium from 9 am to 6 pm on February 5 and 6. People can purchase up to two tickets each by producing their valid ID cards, officials said.
