Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 10: Football fans in Kerala will now have an added reason to cheer every goal at the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco) launched a unique promotional campaign, ‘Supplyco Soccer Eleven’, linking World Cup action with discounts on everyday grocery products.

Starting June 15, the scheme will connect 11 leading World Cup teams with 11 popular Sabari products, with discounts determined by the number of goals scored by the respective teams during the tournament.

Goals To Decide Discounts
Under the initiative, every goal scored by a team in a match will translate into an equivalent percentage discount on the Sabari product associated with that team.

For instance, if Brazil scores three goals in a match, consumers will receive a 3 per cent discount on Sabari turmeric powder, which has been linked to Brazil. However, goals scored during penalty shootouts will not be counted for the offer.

The discount percentage will be revised after every match based on the team's latest goal tally and will remain valid only until the start of that team's next fixture.

If a team is knocked out of the World Cup, the corresponding promotional offer will also come to an end.

Eleven Teams, Eleven Products
The 11 teams featured in the Supplyco Soccer Eleven campaign are Brazil, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, France, Argentina, England, Portugal, Croatia and Morocco.

The Sabari products linked to the participating teams include:

• Netherlands – Sabari Sambar Powder
• Spain – Sabari Puttu Powder
• Argentina – Sabari Payasam Mix
• Belgium – Sabari Super Fine Dust Tea
• Portugal – Sabari Chilli Powder
• Croatia – Sabari Coconut Oil
• England – Sabari Salt
• Morocco – Sabari Hotel Blend Tea
• France – Sabari Gold Tea

Supplyco has also linked products with Brazil and Germany under the campaign.

Special Bonus For Champion Team
The scheme carries an additional World Cup attraction. If any of the 11 teams associated with the campaign goes on to win the tournament, the Sabari product linked to the champion team will be offered at an extra special discount.

Officials said the objective is to combine the excitement of the global football spectacle with day-to-day shopping, creating a unique experience for both football enthusiasts and consumers.

Bringing Football Into Everyday Shopping
Supplyco officials said the campaign is designed to make grocery shopping more engaging during the World Cup season while strengthening consumer participation in the football festival.

The World Cup-linked discounts will be offered in addition to the existing discounts available at Supplyco outlets, allowing consumers to enjoy extra savings as they follow their favourite teams throughout the tournament.
