Dubai, Sep 24: India sailed into the Asia Cup 2025 final with a comfortable 41-run victory over Bangladesh here on Wednesday. Abhishek Sharma was superb with the bat, while Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the bowlers with three scalps to his name.
Chasing a modest 169, Bangladesh were bundled out for 127 in 19.3 overs with Tilak Varma picking up the final wicket. Saif Hassan top-scored for the losing side with an impressive 51-ball 69, comprising three fours and five maximums.
Hassan was given four lifelines as Indian fielders looked sloppy. Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy bagged two wickets each, while Axar Patel got the wicket of Towhid Hridoy.

Earlier, Abhishek carried on with his destructive form scoring 75 off just 37 balls, comprising six fours and five maximums. Abhishek and Shubman Gill (29) stitched 77 for the opening wicket.
India were 112/1 at the end of 11th over, but once Abhishek was
run-out courtesy a brilliant fielding effort by Rishad Hossain, the Men in Blue
lost all the momentum adding only 56 runs in the next 53 balls. And the
majority of those runs were scored by Hardik Pandya (38).
