The groundwork for the new party has already begun. A series of public events have been planned to build momentum and connect with diverse sections of society.

On January 30, a Women’s Conclave will be organized in Bhubaneswar, followed by a Farmers’ Convention on February 5. These events are expected to serve as platforms to highlight the party’s vision and priorities, while also strengthening grassroots support.

Moquim emphasized that leaders from various political backgrounds have been in touch with him, expressing interest in joining the new formation. While he refrained from revealing specific names, he noted that discussions are ongoing and alliances may be considered in the future.

Although clarity on the final name is awaited, Moquim’s announcement has already stirred excitement among his supporters. The move signals a new chapter in Odisha’s regional politics, with expectations that the party will focus on issues of farmers, women, and marginalized communities.

By March, the state may witness the formal birth of a new political force aiming to reshape the discourse ahead of upcoming elections.
