Bhubaneswar, May 31: At the Argus Yuva Prativa Sammana 2025, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of youth power in shaping the future of Odisha.
He expressed gratitude to the Argus News team, particularly Editor Sanjay Jena, for organizing the event and recognizing young achievers who have brought national and international glory to Odisha.
CM Majhi, who was the chief guest at the Argus Yuva Prativa Sammana 2025 conclave, highlighted that youth are the backbone of Odisha’s progress, and honouring their hard work and dedication is a step toward building a stronger state.
He praised Argus News for its commitment to truth and journalism, stating that the media house has consistently brought critical issues to light and acted as a bridge between the government and the people.
Reflecting on the journey of Argus News, CM Majhi acknowledged its rapid growth from a digital platform in 2018 to a full-fledged television channel by 2021, earning widespread public trust.
He commended the channel’s fearless reporting, stating that Argus News reaches places where even the government struggles to intervene, ensuring that people’s voices are heard. “I would say, Argus is our greatest friend,” stated CM Majhi.
The Chief Minister also praised social worker and former BJP national spokesperson Nupur Sharma, calling her an inspiration for the youth.
“In the previous government, any TV channel that highlighted people's problems was considered opposition. However, our government does not view it as anti-government but rather as a friend. This approach will help improve good governance,” stated CM Majhi.
