Deogarh, Mar 13: The body of a youth was found hanging from a tree inside a forest at Niktimal village under Barkote police station in Deogarh district.

The corpse was in a decomposed state, said police, suspecting the incident to be a case of suicide.

The deceased has been identified as resident of Bihar. He was staying in the Barkote area for the past few days.

On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident.

While the exact cause behind the death of the youth is yet to be ascertained, Barkote police have recovered the body and sent it to the district hospital for post-mortem examination.
