Puri, Sept 2: The body of a youth was recovered under mysterious conditions from the canal embankment at Kanti village under the Pipili police station limits in Puri district on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Nilakantha Paikaraya (26), son of Bibekananda Paikaraya of Sana Kanti Village.
According to the information, the ghastly incident occurred late on Sunday night.

✨The family members of the deceased complained to the police that their son was killed by family members of his girlfriend.
Acting on the complaint, the police have detained three membmers, including a woman, of the accused family.
