Youth Killed Under Unknown Circumstances In Bargarh; 7 Arrested

Bargarh, Jan 3: A youth was found unconscious near his house in Kanbar village under Barapali police station in Bargarh district on Saturday night died under treatment at the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences, Burla in Sambalpur last night.
The deceased has been identified as Sudhir Pradhan. His family members have lodged a written complaint with the Barpali police station.
"On December 29, some youth from Sahutikra village called him for a meeting in a near-by ashram. Later on Pradhan was found lying conscious near his house," said a family member.
He was rushed to a private hospital in Bargarh and later on shifted to VIMSAR medical college and hospital in Burla, when his condition deteriorated.

He lost his life while undergoing treatment. Police sent his body for post-mortem and he was burnt on the pyre on Tuesday night.
Police have arrested seven people in relation to this matter.
