Bhubaneswar, May 22: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances near Lingaraj Railway Station in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

The deceased, identified as Sanatan Raut, is a resident of Khandual Sahi in Bhimatangi.

According to reports, the matter came to light after locals spotted the victim in a pool of blood this morning and informed the same to the police.

Police immediately reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.

Following the incident, the victim's family rushed to the spot and later lodged a complaint, alleging that certain individuals deliberately murdered Sanatan and disposed of his body.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death, with forensic teams examining the scene for evidence.

Local residents have expressed concerns over safety in the area, urging swift action from law enforcement.
