Sundargarh, Mar 13: The officials of forest department Thursday rescued a deer with multiple injuries from the premises of the Koida Community Health Center (CHC) in Sundargarh district.
According to reports, the matter came to light after some locals spotted the deer in a pool of blood inside the Koida Community Health Center, located near Koida Forest Range Office and alerted the forest department officials.
The officials rushed to the spot and rescued the deer. After rescuing it, the deer was sent to the forest department for further treatment.
Reportedly, the Forest Department is investigating how and who might have caused such harm to the deer. On the other hand, locals claimed stray dogs behind the attack.
The deer is currently being cared and treated by veterinarians at the Forest Department office.
