Sundergarh, Aug 13: A shocking incident has emerged from Hari Om Colony under Sundargarh Town Police Station, where a woman allegedly strangled her husband to death late last night while he was asleep.

According to reports, the murder is suspected to have stemmed from ongoing domestic disputes between the couple.

The accused wife is currently in police custody and is being interrogated to uncover the motive and circumstances surrounding the crime.

Local sources indicate that the couple had frequent arguments, and tensions had been escalating in recent weeks.

The body has been seized and sent to a local hospital  for post-mortem examination.

A case has been registered against the accused woman under relevant Sections Of IPC and further probe is underway.
