Bhubaneswar, Nov 7: A woman was killed brutally at Gothapatana under Chandaka police station limits on the capital city outskirts on Monday night.

According to sources, the woman was stabbed with a knife. The woman has been identified as Sasmita Behera (35). 

A resident of Krishnapuri colony, Behera owned a breakfast shop in Gothapatna.

However, the reason behind her mysterious death is still not clear. The Chandaka Police has reached the area and started further investigation into the matter. 

Her neighbours and family members are grieving her untimely death.
