Bank Fraud / Woman Loses Rs6.3 Lakh From Bank Account in Odisha’s Baripada

Baripada, Sept 7: A woman on Monday alleged that around Rs 6.3 lakh has mysteriously disappeared from her two accounts in Bandhan Bank’s Badabazar branch at Baripada of Mayurbhanj district in Odisha.
The Complaint
The complainant, identified as Ashtami Mahakud of Chandua Ambapunja village, a widow, said that she had deposited Rs6 lakh in a fixed deposit and another Rs2 lakh in her savings account in the bank. Shockingly, she now finds only Rs1.7 lakh remaining across both accounts.
