Bhadrak, Dec 23: A woman was reportedly killed at Dobal village under Dhamnagar police station limits in Bhadrak district last night. 

The deceased has been identified as Ani Jena, wife of Birendra Jena of Kantapari village of Sohada gram panchayat. 

While the body of Ani Jena was found hanging in a house under mysterious conditions, her paternal family members have alleged that she was killed first and then hanged by in-law family members. 

According to the information,  Ani's parents belong to the Rambag area in Jajpur district. She had married Birendra nine years back. They have two children. 

On being informed, the Dhamnagar police reached the spot and started an investigation after sending the body to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Bhadrak for postmortem.
