Baripada, Mar 9: Town police here have arrested a woman on charges of abducting toddlers inside the district headquarter hospital in Baripada.
The accused woman has been identified as Sandhyarani Mohanta. She hails from Totapada village under Rasagobindapur police limits.
According to reports, one Seikh Kamarudin had admitted his wife to the Baripada DHH for the delivery of their third child. Kamarudin along with his two kids was seated on the bed allocated to his wife. However, he went outside for some work and when returned, he found his two children missing.
After a frantic search, the two kids were found from the possession of the accused woman at fourth floor of the hospital.
While the two children were rescued, the woman was handed over to police. Police have registered a case and launched a probe into the matter.
