Dhenkanal, Mar 5: A woman was reportedly found dead at her residence in Anlabereni village under Tumusinga police limit in Dhenkanal district.

The deceased has been identified as Chanchala Nayak. She was living with her son Lipu after the death of her husband.

According to reports, the incident came to fore after Chanchala was rushed to Anlabereni community health centre in a critical condition. However, she was declared dead on arrival.

On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident.

Reportedly, police have taken Lipu into custody and he is being questioned regarding the incident.
