Bhawanipatna, Jul 23: A woman Forester lost her life in a tragic road accident in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Thursday. The deceased, identified as Jhunubala Sahu, was serving in the Dharmagarh Forest Range, police said.


According to the reports, the accident occurred near Chancharabahadi village on the Junagarh–Bhawanipatna main road when a speeding truck hit her scooter. Sahu sustained severe injuries in the crash and was rushed to Junagarh hospital for treatment. Doctors, however, declared her dead shortly after admission.
