Paradip, Nov 16: A woman was critically injured after an iron laden truck ran over her under Lock Police Station in Paradip of Jagatsinghpur district this morning. The truck driver has fled the scene after the accident.

According to sources, the woman was going to gym when the incident occured. Locals rushed her to the nearest Atharabanki dispensary. 

The woman had heavy blood loss as the truck ran over her stomach. 

The local people were agitated as truck drivers repeatedly break the traffic line and cause accidents. They have accused the police for not taking any stringent step in this regard. 

On the other hand, the woman has not been identified as of now.
