Udala (Mayurbhanj), May 6: A shocking murder case has emerged from the jungles of Vidyadharnagar, where the mutilated body of a woman was discovered on Sunday.

The victim, identified as Made Singh, was allegedly killed due to a love triangle involving another woman’s husband.

According to police reports, the prime accused, Savitri Sai, was enraged over Made Singh’s affection for her husband, Pratap Sai. The two women had frequent disputes over the matter, culminating in a gruesome crime on Saturday night.

Sources reveal that Made Singh was sitting near Sunei Dam when Savitri arrived and attacked her from behind with a sharp weapon, leading to her death.

Following the murder, Savitri sought help from two accomplices, Dukhia Sai and Jayanti Sai, to dispose of the body. The trio carried the corpse deep into the jungle before fleeing the scene.

The police launched an investigation after the body was discovered, leading to the arrest of all three suspects. Authorities are now probing further details surrounding the crime, including potential premeditation and involvement of others.

The case has sent shockwaves through the local community, raising concerns over personal disputes escalating into violent crimes.
