Puri, Dec 31: Keeping the thick crowd in view, the Puri police have issued traffic guidelines and set parking places for tourists visiting the pilgrim city today (Year-End) and tomorrow (New Year).
According to the guidelines, two-wheelers coming from Brahmagiri and Konark ends will be parked at the Municipality Market Complex Parking at Market Chhack. In case this parking is filled with vehicles, two-wheelers will be allowed parking on the designated parking places along the Grand Road between Market Square and Medical Square.
Two-wheelers intending to go towards the beach can park their vehicles at Sterling Resort Square Parking via Mangala Ghat Square.
Similarly, four-wheelers or light vehicles coming from Bhubaneswar side via Uttara, Pipili, Pattanayakia, Satyabadi, Chandanpur, Malati Patpur, Charinala, Atharanala will be parked at Jail Road Parking. When the Jail Road parking is full, the other vehicles can park at Sharadha Bali parking lot via Medical Square. Once the Jail Road parking is filled, vehicles will have to pass through Malati Patapur ROB Baidas Nagar Grid Station and Bhoodan Nagar to park at vehicles at Talabania Parking.

Light vehicles coming from the Brahmagiri side will pass through Mangalaghat Square, Sterling Resort Square and Light House Square and park at Jatrika Parking.
