Bhubaneswar, June 20: In a vibrant celebration of sustainability and creativity, Vedanta Limited, Lanjigarh-- India’s leading producer of smelter-grade alumina and a key unit of Vedanta Aluminium-- hosted a unique Scrap Art Sculpture Competition that turned industrial waste into stunning works of art.

The event brought together eight cross-functional teams comprising employees and business partners, each led by departmental heads. Their mission: to transform everyday industrial scrap into visually compelling sculptures that not only beautify the workplace but also embody Vedanta’s core values of resource optimization, innovation, and sustainability.

The initiative served as more than just an art contest. It became a dynamic platform for inter-departmental collaboration, encouraging dialogue around waste-to-wealth practices and reinforcing the company’s commitment to a progressive, future-ready workplace.
