Koraput, Dec 20: Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest aluminium producer, marked its presence at Parab 2025, the 28th edition of Koraput’s celebrated tribal festival, by unveiling a dedicated stall that highlighted its commitment to cultural preservation and community development, officials said on Saturday.

Odisha’s indigenous traditions, opened with dignitaries including Dr. Krushna
Chandra Mohapatra, Minister for Housing & Urban Development, and local
legislators from Koraput, Pottangi, Laxmipur, and Kotpad. The leaders praised
Parab for spotlighting tribal culture while reflecting the region’s journey
towards inclusive growth.
A major attraction at Vedanta Aluminium’s stall was Project
Adikala, an initiative at its Lanjigarh unit aimed at reviving ancient art
forms such as Saura painting and Dhokra metal craft. The programme has
empowered over 200 rural families by providing sustainable livelihoods while
safeguarding centuries-old traditions.

Pranab Kumar Bhattacharyya, CEO of Vedanta Alumina Business,
