Bhadrak, Jan 3: Four persons were injured and 56 others escaped unhurt as a tourist bus skidded off the road and rammed into a mound of soil at Bishnupur Square on the National Highway-16 in Bhadrak district on Friday evening.

The injured have been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Bhadrak.

According to the information, a bus carrying 60 tourists from Uttar Pradesh was on its way to a tourist spot in Odisha when the driver lost control over its wheels the reason of which is not known yet.

\Police personnel along with locals rescued all tourists from the bus. Four persons, who were found to have injuries, were rushed to the DHH.

The Bhadrak district administration has risen to provide the required support to the tourists.
