Angul, Mar 4: Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday inaugurated a Kalyan Mandap, a well-decorated village gate and a dance pavilion at Deulabebha Telisahi village in the Talcher area of Angul district.

On the occasion, Union Minister Pradhan congratulated the villagers and said that the projects inaugurated at a cost of about Rs 26 lakh will play pivotal roles in cultural, religious, and social activities like marriages and thread ceremonies in the village. All villagers will benefit from these structures. These projects could be possible due to the enthusiasm of the people of the village, especially the youth.

Pradhan thanked the MCL for creating these social works under the strong leadership and development vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He termed the day as a special day for the Angul district. He inaugurated a management education center to be run jointly by IIM Mumbai and IIM Sambalpur. The Minister said that projects such as the new building of the Central School,  the launch of the Skill India Centre and the public education institutes will help the district develop in the fields of quality education, management and skills.
