Bhubaneswar, July 15: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan hailed Odisha's Mohan Charan Majhi government for its grand success in reopening the Ratna Bandar in Shreemandir after long years. 

Taking to his 'X' handle, Pradhan wrote, "The Mohan Majhi government fulfilled yet another promise made to Odisha people by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the election campaign. 

"Mahaprabhu Lord Jagannath is the greatest symbol of Odia Asmita and Swabhiman, Sanatan Culture and Hindu belief.

Reopening Mahaprabhu's Ratna Bhandar, the newly formed Mohan Majhi-led Odisha government has fulfilled another promise made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,' noted Pradhan. 

He noted that the safety of Ratna Bhandar and making an inventory of ornaments and jewels were people's demands for decades.  
"I thank the Shreemandir administration and the Odisha government for efficiently reopening the Ratna Bhandar while respecting Asmita of 4.5 crore Odia people and Hindu belief," wrote Pradhan again.
