Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is scheduled to attend host of events in Sambalpur and Jharsuguda Monday on the second day of his visit to the western districts.

Pradhan will attend the celebration programme on the occasion of Veer Chhabila Sai Saheed Diwas at Kudopali in Sambalpur.

Later he will participate in the 'Padayatra' from Kudopali village to Ranbhumi Ghati. He is scheduled to attend the Veer Chhabila Sai Saheed Diwas celebration programme at Ranbhumi Ghati.

Union Minister Pradhan will also pay tribute to 57 freedom fighters, including Veer Chhabila Sai ther and inaugurate a pillar, which will honour the martyrs.

The Union Education Minister released a book -- 'The Saga of Kudopali' -- in English language by the NBT, Sunday, fulfilling his promise he had made December 30 last year. The book tells the history of Ranbhumi Kudopali.
