Bhubaneswar, Jan 10: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Friday proposed to the State government to extend the ongoing Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) convention for two to three days.

"The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is a very good programme. The arrangements are very nice. I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government for organising such a dignified programme," said Pradhan.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said it would be better if the State Government extended the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention by two or three more days.

"There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. People, particularly youths, are all eager to watch it. Thus, I urge the State government to extend the event for two to three more days," said the Union Minister. The Union Minister said that the exhibition has put the art, culture, and tradition of Odisha in one basket before the world.
