Puri, Aug 14: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited the sacred Shreemandir in Puri today and offered prayers to the holy Trinity—Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra.

Following his darshan, the Minister expressed deep spiritual gratitude, stating that he felt "very fortunate to have the divine darshan of Mahaprabhu."

During his visit, Pradhan prayed for the welfare of Odisha, the nation, and all of humanity.

“I seek Mahaprabhu’s blessings for peace, prosperity, and collective well-being,” he said, addressing media outside the temple premises.

The Minister’s visit comes ahead of the Janmashtami celebrations, adding a spiritual note to his official engagements in the state.

Temple authorities and servitors welcomed him with traditional rituals, and the darshan was conducted amid tight security and a serene devotional atmosphere.
