Dhenkanal, Feb 23: Union Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated Skill India Centre at Dhenkanal bus stand today.

In this skill centre, students will be trained in 8 subjects. Students will be trained in courses ranging from Hotel industry to IT sector and graphics designing.

After getting training for 3-4 months, students will get certificate and will also be able to get a job upto salary of Rs 25,000.

''The centre aims to provide quality education and skills training, empower the youth thereby creating employment opportunities for them.'' said Union Minister Pradhan.

Later, Union Minister is scheduled to release a postage stamp on Gadajata's Gandhi Sarangadhar Das to the public.

Pradhan will dedicate 23 post offices to the public in Dhenkanal and Angul.

In the afternoon, Pradhan is scheduled to visit Joranda mela in Dhenkanal.
