✨“Angul is a region of immense potential. Alongside being Odisha’s largest mining zone, it also boasts a rich historical background—marked by the struggle of Raja Somanath Singh Jagaddev, the formation of Angul district, Mahatma Gandhi’s visit, and the integration of isolated Odia territories. The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to ensuring the people of Angul have access to basic amenities like housing, clean drinking water, agriculture and irrigation facilities, healthcare, employment, education, skill development, and industrial growth,” he said.
The Minister also emphasized that the double engine government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and Chief Minster Mohan Charan Majhi in the State, is focused on investing budgetary funds in public service—not entertainment—and is committed to reducing the gap between the government and the citizens through development-centered governance.
Pradhan added that the double engine government continues to prioritize welfare, education, skill building, agriculture, drinking water, and industrial growth to uplift every citizen of Odisha and especially the aspirational region of Angul.
