Bhubaneswar, Apr 10: Union Health Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda will pay a two-day visit to Odisha starting tomorrow. He is scheduled to attend a host of programmes.
According to the information, the Union Health Minister is scheduled to arrive in Odisha on Friday morning. He will launch the Ayushman Bharat scheme at a function to be held at Baliyatra ground in Cuttack. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, two Deputy Chief Ministers, KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida and Health Minister Dr Mukesh Mahalinga will attend the event, among others.
After that, he will inaugurate the new building of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Paediatrics in Cuttack on May 11. Nadda is scheduled to inaugurate the BJP's training camp in Puri on April 12 morning. The training camp will be held from the evening of April 11 to the evening of April 13. All 84 MLAs and 20 MPs of the party will attend the meeting.
Nadda is also scheduled to visit AIIMS, Bhubaneswar and CIPET.

✨Official sources said, more than 3.5 crore people will be covered under the Ayushman Bharat and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana, which will be executed jointly. On the inaugural day, health cards will be distributed to beneficiaries at 1405 hospitals across the State.
Ministers of various departments will attend card distribution programmes in 13 districts. Ministers Suresh Pujari in Nayagarh, Krishna Chandra Mohapatra in Dhenkanal, Rabi Narayan Naik in Nabarangpur and Gokulananda Mallick in Kendrapara will be present at the launch.
