Cuttack, Aug 23: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday visited the Secondary Board High School in Cuttack, where he actively engaged with students and educators in a vibrant display of scientific curiosity and innovation.

During his visit, the Minister toured a science exhibition organised by the students. He then interacted with the young innovators, asking insightful questions and encouraging them to pursue scientific inquiry with passion and purpose.

Following this, he joined a smart classroom session and participated in a class alongside the students.

In the school auditorium, the Minister addressed both current and former students where he discussed on various educational topics and showed keen interest in emerging technologies, including ChatGPT, asking students about their experiences using AI tools in learning.

He emphasised the significance of education in one's mother tongue, stating that children educated in Odia have the potential to conquer the world.

Continuing his itinerary, the Minister laid the foundation stone for Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 in Nuapada, marking a major step forward in expanding central school infrastructure in the region.

He later attended the 175th anniversary celebration of Ravenshaw Collegiate School, one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in Odisha.

Wrapping up his visit, he served as the chief guest at the Diamond Jubilee celebration of Kamalakanta Vidyapitha, where he reiterated his commitment to strengthening education through cultural and technological integration.
