Puri, Mar 25: An unrecognized corpse was found floating in Bhargavi river under Pipili police limit in Puri district.

According to reports, the matter came to light after some locals, who were out on morning walk, spotted the body floating in the river.

On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.

Police have registered a case and have commenced efforts to establish the identity of the individual and the events leading to the death.
