Jajpur, Jan 4: In a tragic incident, two sibling sisters were killed and another person sustained critical injuries as a tractor, in which they were traveling, overturned at Jodabar in Jajpur district on Saturday.

The deceased sisters were identified as Dulari Hansda and Ranee Hansda of the Majhisahi area. The injured is undergoing treatment at the nearby Community Health Center(CHC).

According to the information, the three people were going to their agriculture field to bring paddy when the tractor overturned on the canal roadside. The two sisters were pressed under its trolley and died on the spot. Another person sustained critical injuries. Locals rushed the injured to a nearby hospital.

On being informed, the Jajpur Road police rushed to the spot and started an investigation.
