Bhubaneswar, Feb 25: Two persons, including a minor boy, lost their lives in two separate incidents in Bolangir and Puri districts.

The first incident, reported from Bolangir district, involves a minor boy who reportedly committed suicide by jumping into Tel river.

The deceased has been identified as Amlan Chatia. According to reports, Amlan, a resident of Tusura village, allegedly ended his life following a failed love affair.

On being informed about the incident, police reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.

In another incident, a youth was killed after he accidentally fell from Atharanala bridge in Puri district.

However, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Soon after the incident, locals informed the fire personnel, who then reached the spot and rescued the victim.

The victim was sent to the hospital, however, the doctor declared him brought dead.
