Khurda, Mar 19: At least two persons were killed after the car they were travelling in collided head-on with a bus on National Highway-57 near Khurda district.

According to reports, the incident took place this morning when a passenger bus was heading towards Nayagarh. Meanwhile, a car enroute to Bhubaneswar collided head-on with the speeding bus at Pichukuli.

The impact of the collision was so severe that two persons inside the car died on the spot. Meanwhile, the bus veered off the road, and two passengers on board sustained minor injuries.

Upon receiving information, police rushed to the scene and alerted the fire department, as the car had stuck under the bus, making it difficult to retrieve the bodies.
