Keonjhar, Apr 6: A devastating fire broke out in Khetuali village under the jurisdiction of Anandpur subdivision's Nandipada police station, resulting in the destruction of two homes. The incident occurred when a gas cylinder exploded while Pitabasa Das was cooking, igniting flames that quickly spread across the area.

The fire extended beyond Das's residence, consuming the neighboring house of Basanti Nanda as well. Despite swift efforts, residents struggled to bring the blaze under control. Upon receiving the alert, the fire department promptly reached the scene and managed to extinguish the fire.

However, both families lost all their household belongings in the tragic incident.
